US First Lady Melania Trump was gifted by a 13-year-old Kenyan boy while delivering Valentine’s Day cards to young patients.
FLOTUS had visited minors being treated at the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health in Bethseda, Maryland.
She was gifted a silver necklace inscribed with “faith” and “hope” from Amani, a 13-year-old Kenyan.

Amani has sickle cell disease and is preparing for a bone marrow transplant.
According to Trump’s communications director, the boy has a bracelet to match the necklace he gave the First Lady.
“It’s so beautiful. Thank you.
“Very special … Very nice,” she told Amani.
In August last year, Melania applauded Margaret Kenyatta’s Beyond Zero campaign, an initiative whose main focus is mitigating health challenges facing mothers and children in Kenya.
America's First Lady expressed her delight in hosting First Lady Margaret, adding her joy at learning about her initiative whose interest is in children’s well-being.
Two months later, she visited Kenya to highlight her passion for wildlife and conservation and strengthen ties between the two countries.
