4 Die After Saloon Car Rams Into Bus

Four people died in a grisly accident at Morendat along Nairobi-Nakuru highway involving a saloon car and a bus. 

The deceased were all traveling in a Toyota Wish when the Sunday morning accident happened.

The saloon car was headed to Nairobi when it collided with a bus from Climax Bus Company.

Several people who sustained injuries were rushed to Naivasha hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

In a separate incident, at least four people have reportedly perished in a grisly accident on Saturday evening in Bungoma County.

The accident involving a head-on collision between a PSV matatu and a lorry occurred along Chwele road at Marakaru Trading Center.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Kimilili MP Didmus Wekesa Barasa, who visited the scene, confirmed that several people lost their lives in the unfortunate accident.

"Among those who have perished is a close friend of mine who is also a former MCA for Wandanyi," the MP stated.

Initial reports indicate that four people perished on the spot with several others sustaining injuries.

Unconfirmed reports allege that among those who perished in the accident are high school students who were out for their mid-term break.
