Kabogo's Woos DP Ruto to His camp in New Handshake

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo was spotted alongside Deputy President William Ruto during a fundraiser at the Israel Assemblies of God Akorino fellowship in Molo, Nakuru county in what seemed to be a probable new alignment.

Political analysts have started speculating on the possibility of the two big wig politicians having something cooking behind the scenes.

However, commenting on the matter, the former governor stated that he had been invited by the church for the event where he met the DP.

He further revealed that he had started his own round of handshakes to bring various leaders together but this time, for the benefit of Kenyans noting that he had been in contact with the DP.

Kabogo also indicated that apart from Ruto, he would also reach out to other leaders across the political divide including Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

He went on to add that the motivation behind his decision was learning that current political atmosphere had led to economic poverty and insisted that he was focused on an economic handshake that will bring a revolution in the economic sector.

"I'm in a mission to unite all Kenyans in 47 counties for the prosperity of the country and for the betterment of 'Wanjiku', "Kabogo revealed.

"I'm pushing for the welfare of the youth who are jobless due to a teething economy. Youth empowerment through technical training is all what they require for them to acquire skills that will grant them jobs," Kabogo added.

The flamboyant politician urged his colleagues to shift focus from politics and concentrate on development, stating that the issue of who will be president wasn't important at the moment but what mattered most is how Kenyans will benefit.
