Miguna Launches Contest to Gather Revolution Strategies & Tactics

Dubbed the Revolutionary Contest, exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna is out to gather ideas of renegade strategies and tactics through a competition he has launched.

On Tuesday, Dr Miguna announced an open writing contest where each winner will receive a free copy of his most book titled; Treason: The Case Against Despots and Renegades.

"Kenyans seek freedom, jobs, dignity, food, healthcare, quality education, infrastructure. They deserve good governance, rule of law, respect for human rights and strict adherence to the constitution. It's a journey. Here is your chance to contribute to it," he noted.

Miguna revealed that he would give out 15 copies of his controversial book which had been released from detention by KRA at the Mombasa port.

He further stated that the essay should be based on the topic, Which way Kenya? Radical revolution as Kenya's transformative instrument - strategies and tactics with a recommended length of 1,500 words.

Additional information to note is that submissions must bear the author's correct legal name, telephone number, and valid email address with the submission deadline set for June 1, 2019, at 2 pm.

He, however, warned, "Submissions that don't comply with this requirement will be discarded without reading."

Winners will be announced on June 15, 2019.

Earlier in the month, the exiled lawyer accused KRA of illegally detaining 1830 copies of the book despite having paid all the required fees.

“My new book has been illegally detained. 1,830 copies of Treason: The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades arrived at the Mombasa Port one month ago. We paid for their release as required but Kenya Revenue Authority has refused to release the books until they get "instructions from above,” part of his statement read.
