Dennis Itumbi Reveals Intimate Conversation He Had With Monica Kimani’s Father

State House Secretary of Digital Communication Dennis Itumbi has reportedly opened up about an intimate conversation he shared with the Late Monica Kimani’s father, Paul Ngarama.

According to reports by Nation, the conversation happened while they were mid-air in a plane seated next to each other.

The press honcho for Deputy President William Ruto disclosed that they had a long conversation about   Kimani’s murder as well as Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe.

In his narration, Itumbi disclosed that Monica’s father wanted to meet Maribe’s parents.

“’ If you see Maribe’s Mum and Dad, tell them that one day when it is all over we can pray together as parents, maybe we are the people God wants to use to reach to our young people,’” Itumbi quoted Ngarama as stating.

Itumbi added that the bereaved father was particularly impressed by the way he gave Maribe a shoulder to cry on when she was remanded in prison for a month.

The one-time State House digital communications guru nonetheless noted that Kimani’s father was trying to heal after the loss of his child.

Before alighting from the plane, Itumbi revealed that they vowed to meet each other but they haven't managed to do so just yet.

“I have not met him because I do not want to be accused of interfering with witnesses,”  Itumbi explained.

Maribe was freed on October 2018 on Ksh1 million cash bail while her co-accused Joseph Irungu aka Jowie has on several occasions been denied bail and is still in jail.

The case is still ongoing.
