Threats to Kill Uhuru Brian Kibet Bera Had Posted Before Sneaking into State House

Brian Kibet Bera who was shot after trespassing into State House on Monday had already exposed his plans beforehand.

In a series of Facebook posts, he had expressed displeasure with President Uhuru Kenyatta accusing him of overseeing injustice committed against him.

"Thief President Uhuru Kenyatta and his partners. Tomorrow I attack State House. God has sent me to execute judgment on every thief and every partner of a thief," read his last update which he signed off as Prince Of Ethiopia

"Warn your brothers not to partner with thief President Uhuru Kenyatta when I come to slay every thief who stole the land God gave to my fathers," read another post dated June 8.

People who had noticed the JKUAT student's updates reached out to him with but he was adamant about executing his plan.

"Those calling me mad, why have you not come to arrest me and take me to Mathare?

"I have been here inside JKUAT. I will slay whoever is a partner with thieves that stole my inheritance. Whoever stole the land God gave to my fathers must die," he responded.

Brian claimed that he had written a letter to President Kenyatta seeking permission to live in Mt Elgon but didn't receive any response.

"I wrote a letter to President Kenyatta in January 2019 to allow me and my soldiers (poor, oppressed homeless people) to live in caves in Mt Elgon National Park land where my ancestors lived. He has not replied to me," Brian protested.

"Let this message reach President Uhuru Kenyatta and his people who stole my land and my inheritance. Even if Uhuru makes me his Deputy President, I will not accept. I'd rather be a slave among wise men than be a ruler among fools," he posted.
