A touching video of President Uhuru Kenyatta praying has wowed many netizens after Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko re-posted it on his Facebook page.
In the video, which was seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the president expresses appreciation for great friends who have stood by him in difficult times, a wonderful evening and the Nation of Kenya.
"We pray for greater and better times for our wonderful Nation Kenya, we pray for the journey mercies of every single one of us here," part of his prayer stated.
He also prays for peace, prosperity and unity in the country.
Kenyans seemed moved by the prayer as most took to the comment section to type 'Amen' which means 'So be it' as others praised the president for his action.
"Amen, God bless you Mr.President for the prayer," Milka commented.
"God fearing President, may our Good Lord bless him always in Jesus name Amen," Lucy Muchugia stated.
"I love our President. What a man of integrity, God fearing man. May God bless him always," Judy weighed in.
The president's video was first posted in 2017 by a Youtube channel called E News and it is not the first time he has been spotted praying.
During the last day of the general campaigns in 2017, the president also prayed for the crowd at Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium to take off the caps and bow down their heads as he prayed for peaceful elections.
