Jubilee party members woke up to the news of the death of a Regional Director of the Lower Eastern area.
Officially announcing the passing via his social media handle, the party's Secretary general Raphael Tuju stated that Janet Muli breathed her last on 12th June 2019.
"I extend my deepest sympathies to the family during this trying time. May God give us comfort and strength," Tuju conveyed.
In 2017, Muli was in the original list present for Jubilee Senate nominees, which was returned and reviewed for streamlining.
She was replaced in the list of sixteen finalists by Farhiya Haji from Wajir.
Earlier in March, Bomet East MP Beatrice Kones' son Collins Kipyegon died at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where he was rushed to.
The son was reported that the deceased committed suicide by taking poison.
“He was rushed here early morning for having taken poison and doctors did all they could do to save his life but unfortunately he died,” commented a doctor from the hospital.
