The Directorate of Criminal Investigations(DCI) have arrested 65-year-old, Joseph Pasile Mulata after a video of a man being mercilessly thrashed went viral.
While Mulata has already been arrested, three of the other suspects, whom DCI stated are close family members to the victim, are still being pursued.
In the video that is believed to have been filmed within Sajiloni area of Dalalekutuk ward in Kajiado Central, a group of four men is seen using sticks and a lot of force to thrash a man who is groaning in pain.
Most of the people who watched the disturbing video posted by the DCI requested for speedy investigations.
"This people should be arrested and be put behind bars,am a Maasai and we don't advocate for such a torture," Jack noted.
"So disturbing and difficult to watch," Mbori weighed in.
"How we wish you would similarly apprehend, with such zeal, the men and women who ruthlessly steal public funds with reckless abandon," Ogola commented.
Sleuths investigating the case have appealed to the victim to come forward and help with the investigations.
"Further inquiries are ongoing to bring all those involved to Justice," DCI posted on their Twitter page.
