Deputy President William Ruto was, on Saturday, left in stitches by an MCA who bashed ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga in front of him.
The legislator had been invited to address the gathering when the DP made a stopover in Nandi County.
He told off the AU envoy and explained that he had misled the residents of Migori for a long time.
"Migori is tired. I don't know what this man wants. Today, he'll ask people to pick up stones and go to the road, tomorrow he'll ask us to abandon Safaricom for Airtel, the next day he'll tell us to stop drinking Brookside milk.
"You come to Migori, give us a day. We are going back with a day when you'll come or you give us a day when we can come with 500 people to see you," he stated amidst cheers.
The DP was seen laughing as the MCA traded jabs at Raila.
Notably, Ruto and the ODM Party Leader have been at loggerheads since the last General Election.
The handshake between Raila and Uhuru on March 9, 2019, worsened their relationship since it was seen as a ploy to edge Ruto out of the 2022 presidential race.
