Classic FM's mid-morning show presenter Mimmy Khamis has quit.
The bubbly presenter, who has worked at Radio Africa since 2017, hosting the mid-morning show, served her notice on Friday morning.
Confirming her resignation to Kenyans.co.ke, Mimmy divulged that she wanted to do something different and grow in her career.
"I just want to do something different. I have no issues with the place. I just want to grow in my career," she disclosed.
While asked what her next move was, the show host noted, "I'd rather not talk about it, if that's okay."
This comes almost a month after NRG's breakfast show hosts, Kamene Goro and Andrew Kibe, quit the station to start their new journey at Kiss 100.
The two presenters, who have since been sued, were to host Kiss 100's breakfast show.
It is alleged that Kibe and Kamene had signed a non-compete clause which prohibits them from joining another media house.
Justice Hellen Wasilwa temporarily barred them from working for any other radio station.
“A temporary order of injunction is hereby granted restraining the duo from performing services for, carrying or being engaged or interested or concerned directly or indirectly or publicly identifying with the promotion of services by any other radio station within the Republic of Kenya or any business that competes with NRG,” she ruled.
