Watch as Magufuli Discloses Uhuru's Love for Tanzanian Alcohol

President Uhuru Kenyatta's recent visit to neighbouring country, Tanzania, came to a light-hearted conclusion as his Tanzanian counterpart, John Pombe Magufuli, bid him farewell.

Magufuli disclosed Uhuru's new found love for Tanzanian wine and jokingly remarked that this could lead Kenyans over to Tanzania, to make orders for their special wine.

"Na amependa sana wine ya Tanzania, kwa hiyo sasa inawezekana sasa wakenya including na yeye watakuwa wanakuja to order from here, ile wine ya Dodoma," loosely translating to  "and he really like Tanzanian liquor, which could mean that from now on, Kenyans (including himself) will start coming over for the same," Magufuli disclosed.

The two exchanged hearty laughter, amid Magufuli's confession that Uhuru especially took a liking to a particular drink dubbed  'the presidential wine'.

Uhuru had on Thursday advised his son, Muhoho Kenyatta, to try his luck in marriage across the border.

"Hata kijana yangu nitamwambia akuje atembee tembee huku labda ataweza bahatika hata yeye," loosely translating to, "I'll ask my son to visit this place, maybe he will get lucky," Uhuru divulged.

The Kenyan president while bidding Magufuli goodbye following his private visit, maintained that the cordial trip would allow the two countries to strengthen their bonds.

On his part, Magufuli was full of praise for Uhuru, adding that he had been deeply touched by the visit, and gifted him four peacocks, which he said would be delivered to Kenya soon.
