Kenyan Makes 3 Demands to Boeing After Losing Entire Family

A Kenyan who lost his entire family during the Ethiopian Airline Flight 302 crash on March 10, 2019, has made three demands in his testimony ahead of the hearing that is set to take place today in the US.

Paul Njoroge lost his wife Caroline, mother-in-law and three children on the fateful day.

In his testimony, Njoroge made three demands; he first highlighted that the Boeing company should scrap the 737 Max 8, which was the model of the Ethiopian plane.

He also noted that top executives at the company should resign and face criminal charges for not grounding the plane when it had the first accident in October 2018.

Njoroge added that he wanted the Congress to probe the certification process of the US government’s Federal Aviation Administration for stating the plane was safe.

He divulged that since the accident occurred, he had led a life of emptiness and had not been able to work.

“I think about their last six minutes a lot. My wife and mum-in-law knew they were going to die. They had to somehow comfort the children during those final moments.

“I have nightmares about how they must have clung to their mother, crying, seeing the fright in her eyes,” Njoroge wrote.

The Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 plane crash left 157 people dead and countless families bereaved.
