Joe Ageyo Cries Out to Uhuru Over Fake Letters on Citizen TV [VIDEO]

Citizen TV Editorial Director, Joe Ageyo, on Thursday night, cried out to President Uhuru Kenyatta while following the release of two fake letters incriminating his staffers and those of his deputy, William Ruto.

Speaking on News Gang show, the scribe argued that it was high time the Presidency got fixed since entities from both offices were trading barbs when they are supposed to coordinate.

He further argued that the latest saga comes just weeks after another letter, reportedly authored by a cabinet secretary, disclosed an alleged plan to assassinate the DP and tainted the image of the Presidency.

"Take the latest circus involving a mysterious letter supposedly written to the attorney general from this entity called the Presidency, advising on the current stalemate over county cash.

"But before the country even has a chance to discuss the contents of that letter, the Presidency is at it again. Some faceless aides in the office of the president and that of his deputy shamelessly trading barbs," he lamented.

"Am I the only one who is tired of this circus. Wasn't La Mada enough? Is it not enough that the cabinet under the chairmanship of the president can't even meet? Is it not enough some cabinet secretaries can't see eye to eye?" Added Ageyo.

The editor further divulged that the shameless catfights between the aides had reduced the offices as centres for indecent political fighting and that it was up to Uhuru to shut it down.

"I assume the letters and the nasty exchanges are stinking like a bad sewage line and the stench of the administrative disorder is rising to the high heavens and reducing State House, Harambee House, Harambee House Annex and Karen to mere command centres of the most indisciplined infighting in the country's recent history.

"Well, it is all down to and up to the huge institution dabbed the Presidency. The mess the country is witnessing is an inhouse free for all slugfest," he continued.

The DCI, on Thursday, released a statement regarding the letter addressed to the attorney general, explaining that it would certify its authenticity.
