Woman Emotionally Begs to Meet Uhuru on Citizen TV

On Friday, an aged woman broke down on Citizen TV as she emotionally pleaded to be taken to State House to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The woman was part of a traditional dance group that sang for the first president, Jomo Kenyatta, who they alleged promised to take them to State House.

"Where are you. Tell him that I want to see him at State House," the woman wailed as she went on a rant.

According to the woman, Mathare Mukono Dancers, which she is part of, performed to Jomo in 1963.

Jomo went on to present to them his book, Facing Mt Kenya, at a later event.

"He gave us this book and these are the pictures we took with him," the woman revealed as others cheered her on.

She made the antics in the presence of Citizen TV anchor, Rashid Abdalla, as she continued wailing.

The anchor, at first, tried to chip in to help her calm down, but the agitated woman went on.

"Look at these photos. We were eating meat with Jomo.

"Our former MP at Mathare was to take us to meet Uhuru, however, he lost in the elections," she cried.
