Sarah Wairimu, the widow to deceased Tycoon Tob Cohen, revealed her next action after missing out on her husband's will.
On Friday, September 20, through her lawyer Philip Murgor, Wairimu declared war on the beneficiaries of Cohen's will, stating that she will fight them aggressively in court.
Wairimu and Murgor declined to be part of the process to open Cohen's will at Kirundi & Co Advocates.
"If our rights to the matrimonial home are in any way affected, we will fight all the way to the Supreme Court," Murgor declared as reported by The Standard.
The war will further deteriorate a broken relationship between Wairimu and Cohen's sister, Gabrielles van Straten.
"A will is not cast on stone. This is a battle royale that is shaping up," Murgor added.
Despite lawyer Bruce Kirundi declining to reveal the contents of the will, Citizen TV reported that Cohen left 50% of his house to his sister, 25% to his sister's children and the other 25% to his brother.
The tycoon's sister also inherited all the money in his bank account and his Kitusuru villa in Nairobi. Cohen is estimated to be worth more than Ksh1 billion
Wairimu on Friday, September 20, requested the court to allow her to attend the tycoon's burial slated for Monday, September 23.
Cohen's sister will, however, miss out on his brother's burial after flying out of Kenya on Friday, September 20. His brother Benard Cohen will oversee the ceremony.
