Sarah Wairimu Breaks Down at Cohen's Funeral [VIDEO]

Sarah Wairimu Cohen, the wife of murdered Dutch Tycoon, Tob Cohen was on Tuesday, September 24, present at her late husband's burial.

She attended the burial ceremony that was held the Jewish Cemetery along Wangari Maathai Road in Nairobi.

In a small private ceremony, Sarah could be seen shedding tears when her husband's casket was slowly lowered to the ground.

Tears flowed freely down her cheeks as she bid farewell to the man she spent over a decade with.

She, later on, held the handkerchief closed to her mouth, probably to block an unexpected outburst, especially since Jewish burial rites do not allow moaning.

Earlier own, Wairimu had shown up calmly standing next to her lawyer Philip Murgor, whom she consulted from time to time.

Wairimu had also brought with her a bouquet of flowers that were held close to her heart.

The prison warder assigned to guard her closely followed her everywhere at the burial site. High Court Judge Stella Mutuku had ordered that Wairimu be escorted to the cemetery to attend her late husband's burial, amid the murder charges she was facing.

According to a report by the Daily Nation, President Uhuru Kenyatta's cousin, Ngengi Muigai was in attendance alongside Cohen's widow.

Other leaders who were at the event included former government spokesperson Muthui Kariuki, Captain Kung'u Muigai and a number of officials from the Dutch Embassy.

The tycoon made headlines after reports emerged that he had gone missing, before his body was discovered in a septic tank at his home, 60 days later.
