Jimmy Gait's Habit That Got Him Kicked Out of Palatial Home [VIDEO]

Renowned gospel musician Jimmy Gait on Sunday, October 6, recounted a time when he was kicked out of his posh house.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke the musician disclosed how he lost his house in Edenville estate in Thindigua along Kiambu road, after immersing huge debts in 2015.

"One morning at 6 am, I heard a knock on the door and on opening, there was a big truck parked there and they swept everything I had before kicking me out," he painfully narrated.

He went ahead to describe how the financial crisis rocked his entire world and was only living from hand to mouth.

"I went back to the streets and for three months I did not know what to do, I did not know what I'm eating," he recalled.

The musician revealed that during the period he lived in lodging that went for Ksh 300 a day in Ngara.

When it rains it pours, this was around the same time he received backlash from social media users concerning his song, 'Yesu ndiye sponsor'.

The bile from netizens sent him into depression thereafter causing him to weep on live television.

Jimmy Gait suffered the financial setback after an investment opportunity went south.

"One of the partners died before he could contribute and the other who was supposed to cater for the expenses of the operations once the goods arrived for some reason was unable to access his money," he recalled.

The musician who claims he now lives in a better place, recently announced that he would be exiting the music industry soon after his return from India where he had gone to seek treatment.
