A teenage girl on Tuesday morning, October 15, awed many after she composed a heart touching song for world marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge.
In the video, the girl only identified as Daisy began by confidently dedicating her song to Kipchoge.
The student from St. Teresa of Avila Girl's in Ndalat sweetly sang to the tune of an old historic melody but decorated it with praise for the record-breaker.
She recounted the historic morning when Kipchoge became the first human to run a marathon in under two hours on October 12.
"The young and old shed tears of joy when they watched Kipchoge win, yeeeeyy! We all want to emulate Kipchoge," she sang.
The songbird also described how Kenyans, among them Deputy President William Ruto, eagerly waited for Kipchoge at the finish line to celebrate the accomplishment.
"When the hero hit the finish line, he was welcomed by Kenyans, among them Ruto, he flew Kenya's flag high dully representing the country," she continued.
Daisy ended her song urging form four candidates to emulate the example set by Kipchoge and do something worthwhile for Kenya.
Nominated Member of Parliament David Ole Sankok who shared the video also requested the talented girl to "visit his family for a gift."
This comes shortly after Kipchoge's world breaking record earned him a nomination for a top athletics award days.
Kipchoge was nominated among ten male athletes in the running for the IAAF Male Athlete of the Year Award. He will be looking to retain the title he won in 2018.
