DP Ruto Flexes His Muscle With Grand Kibra Entrance [VIDEO]

DP William Ruto on Sunday, October 27, showed his influence by what could be described as a grand entrance during the Kibra by-election campaigns.

It was during a campaign rally for the Jubilee candidate McDonald Mariga at Lindi bypass that the DP made his presence known when he landed with a helicopter at the grounds.

Ruto, who is not a stranger to making an appearance at two separate occasions on a single day, was earlier in Nyeri county.

There he had attended a church dedication service at Karatina Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in Mathira Constituency.

In the evening, he opted for the aerial transport to make it to the campaign rally on time.

Upon his arrival, residents were visibly elated by his grand arrival as the chopper attracted the crowds to the venue.

The DP went to the podium where he joined the other leaders who were already addressing the crowd.

Kibra was a bevvy of activity on Sunday with multiple rallies being held at different locations. The ODM brigade led by Raila Odinga pitched camp at Laini Saba grounds.

ANC candidate Eliud Owalo was joined by his party leader Musalia Mudavadi where they held a rally at Kamukunji grounds in Sarang'ombe ward.

The rally however ended in chaos as their convoy was pelted with stones by a section of rowdy youth.
