Kenyan musician Nyamari Ongegu, popularly known as Nyashinski, on Friday, November 1, solemnised his union with his longtime girlfriend Zia Jepkemei Bett.
Sources who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke revealed that the two lovers exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony that was held in Nandi County.
Nyashinski, who is famed for hits such as; Marathon Runner, Aminia, Malaika, Now You Know and Mungu Pekee, has kept his relationship under wraps for a long time.
As such, not many people knew that he was in a relationship until Friday.
Among those in attendance were; David Mathenge, Mudigi Savara, Bien Aime Baraza, Chrispin Mwangale, and Fakii Liwali.
Nyashinki was originally a member of the Kleptomaniax music group alongside Collo and Roba before he left for the US.
He returned to the country in 2016 to re-establish his career.
In a song titled KEBS, he dismissed rumours of a relationship in the US, which Kenyans claimed had produced a child.
