A Kibra resident stunned voters with his out-of-this-world sense of fashion when he showed up to cast his vote.
The man identified as Ochieng' Abich arrived at the polling station in style with his trousers worn all the way to his chest.
Dressed in a shiny silver trouser matched with a well-ironed lilac shirt and a grey striped tie, Abich was ready to cast his vote.
According to a KTN News broadcast, Abich, however, was unable to vote for his candidate after his name missed from the voter register.
"During the last general election in 2017, I cast my vote in Kibra, however, today I was informed that my name was in the Rangwe Constituency (in Homa Bay County) register," he complained.
The visibly disappointed Abich, now christened Trouserman by social media users, further disclosed that he had travelled upcountry and on returning, found his name missing.
As Abich left after his short interview with a KTN journalist, excited onlookers rushed to shake his hand, cheering him on.
Based on the manner in which people were trying to take pictures with him, he seemed to have many admirers.
By the time of publishing, most polling stations in Kibra Constituency have been closed for tallying.
Voters who were already in line at the closing time were still be given a chance to vote.
