A motorist on Saturday night, November 9 took many by surprise after he crashed dangerously in the middle of the road.
In a video that went viral on social media, the driver dubbed as careless, crashed his vehicle into the roundabout at Lebanon area on the way to Makupa.
According to Kenyan Traffic, a popular motorist group on Twitter, the driver abandoned the car escaping on foot before police arrived.
In the video, the car is seen coming at high-speed before turning in what seemed to be a botched 360-degree drift, instead, hitting the roundabout on its left side.
After hitting the roundabout, the car almost toppled over but was quickly blocked by the boundary surrounding the roundabout, prompting the car swiftly settle on its wheels leaving a cloud of dust.
The vehicle then stays still for moments as the dust slowly settles.
Earlier on Sunday, November 10 another bus driver fled the scene of a grisly road accident in Salama town along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
According to Citizen Digital, one woman died on the spot, while 32 passengers were rushed to Machakos Level 5 Hospital for emergency treatment.
Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan confirmed the tragic incident, going on to declare that the search was on for the errant driver.
The police boss went on to reveal that the bus was heading to Nairobi from Mombasa.
