How to Get KCPE 2019 Results on SMS

The KCPE 2019 Results were released on Monday, November 18, by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha. 

A total of 1,088,986 candidates sat for the exam in the country and were released 17 days after the examinations concluded.

The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) announced that the top candidate, Master Andy Michael Munyi from Damacrest Schools in Thogoto got 440 marks while  3 candidates tied in the second position: Flavian Onyango of Chakol girls, June Cheptoo Koech of Sangalo central primary school and Sean Michael Ndung'u of Kitengela International school scoring 439 marks.

CS Magoha announced that the KCPE results were assessable via an SMS message.

To access their results, candidates will be required to send an SMS message with the candidate's index number followed by KCPE (In capital letters) to 20076.

The services are viable for all three network providers in the country Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom.

The cost of each SMS is Ksh 25.

The marking of the examination was concluded on Friday by 6,440 examiners for English Composition and Kiswahili Insha papers.
