Kabogo Tears Into Murkomen During Heated Interview

During a heated discussion on Tuesday evening, November 19, former Kiambu governor William Kabogo castigated Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on NTV.

The topic of discussion was the Sagana meeting which was held on Friday, November 15, whereby president Uhuru Kenyatta convened with Mt Kenya leaders.

The former governor stated that the Jubilee Party, led by the president and his deputy William Ruto had allowed corruption to prevail in the country.

"If the Jubilee government fails, it is not the president who has failed, it is the entire jubilee government which includes DP Ruto. If they fail to provide employment to the young, they should be shown the door together.

"Why have they allowed corruption to be so much and so prevalent in their first term of government?" he questioned.

While replying to the governor, Murkomen stated that Kabogo was still a member of the Jubilee Party, to which he sharply denied.

"My friend, I am not in the Jubilee Party. Since you did what you did to me, I am not in Jubilee.

"I do not want to look jilted but when you say I am in Jubilee, you must also quantify what you mean by I am in Jubilee. You need me only when there's no election but when there is an election, you do not need me," Kabogo remarked.
