Johnson Mwakazi Makes Surprise Citizen TV Appearance

Former Citizen TV news anchor Johnson Mwakazi made a surprise comeback to the screen on Sunday, November, 24.

The eloquent orator was the special guest during Kambua's early morning show Rauka.

In response to the debate on whether children should be homeschooled, he stated that he preferred the traditional school setting.

"When you allow your child to interact with other children, you are giving them an opportunity to be a truly able and responsible human being," Mwakazi disclosed.

He also revealed that he had decided to walk away from the limelight at his peak after realizing he was called by God to serve in a different capacity.

Currently, the award-winning journalist runs The Royal Voice International, a media production company that provides voice-over services to numerous content creators across the media landscape.

He opened up about finding inner peace and happiness after walking away from all the glitz and glamour to simply serve God.

"The place of contentment is in the presence of God," he stated.

Viewers were pleasantly surprised to see the celebrated anchor back on Citizen TV, with hundreds taking to various social media platforms to share their heartfelt messages.

"I loved english since I was a kid because of this guy, the way he is so articulate, passionate while speaking, much love Mwakazi," Wyre Mwangi posted on Facebook.

Countless others called on Royal Media Services to find a way to bring the celebrated anchor back to their studios.

"Citizen TV, I think I should have a voice in the way you run your programs. I demand that you bring back Johnson Mwakazi to the limelight," Obimbo Ogola shared on the TV station's Facebook page.
