MP Narrates Crawling Into DP Ruto's Office for Help [VIDEO]

During a thanksgiving ceremony for nominated MP David Sankok held on Friday, November 27, the MP praised Deputy President William Ruto for his selflessness and philanthropic nature.

While delivering his speech at Enkare-Ngiro primary school grounds in Narok County, Sankok disclosed that the DP was always willing and ready to help the disabled and the poor.

In particular, Sankok narrated a past incidence where his crutches broke and the DP came to his aid.

"The first day I met you, my crutches were broken and I was walking on my knees. Some men from the University were merciful and decided to take me to Sunkuli's (Minister Internal Security at the time) office for help but unfortunately, I did not find him.

"Some security officers told me that there was an Assistant Minister (William Ruto) who would help me. I went to his office while crawling and narrated how my crutches broke," Sankok continued.

He went ahead and disclosed that he had crawled for three kilometres, something that had brought the DP to tears at that time.

"I remember that the DP said he would me crutches. He also told me to always seek his help whenever I got a problem.

"From that day to date, we have been great friends," Sankok remarked.

On his part, the DP stated that Kenyans should not be subjected to divisive politics.

“Kenyans know where they came from and where they are going. We must discourage politics based on ethnic and political persuasions,” stated Ruto.
