I Have Been Summoned by DCI - King Kaka

Popular rapper Kennedy Ombima alias King Kaka claimed that he was summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to their headquarters along Kiambu Road.

Kaka made the announcement on his social media pages that as his Wajinga Nyinyi song continues to ruffle feathers among the political elite. 

"I have just been summoned by the CID," King Kaka tweeted on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

Activist Boniface Mwangi further revealed that he had spoken to King Kaka and urged Kenyans to join him at the headquarters along Kiambu Road. 

"I have spoken to him and he informs me that the DCI has summoned him. 

"His friends, fellow artistes and Kenyans of goodwill are joining him at DCI headquarters, Kiambu Road, at 12 pm. If you're able to join us, see you there," Mwangi tweeted and confirmed the same to Kenyans.co.ke.

Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru on Monday, December 16, threatened to sue King Kaka over the song she found defamatory.

 Through her lawyers Paul Kiragu Wathuta, the county head faulted the artist for deliberately omitting to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the contents.

In the spoken-word track, that went viral on Saturday, December 14, King Kaka blatantly criticised President Uhuru Kenyatta's government and called out Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, her Kiambu and Nairobi counterparts Ferdinand Waititu and Mike Sonko for their various failures.
