Photos of Murkomen & Wife on a Date Light Up The Internet

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Friday evening, January 3, lit up the internet after he posted photos of him and his wife, Gladys Wanjiru, on a date.

In the photos, he and his wife are seen walking along escarpments and engaging in conversations as they eat mangoes and mandazis.

"Yesterday, after visiting my aunt and cousin at Soko Bora, I took my wife for a nostalgic walk up the hills to Chepturotwo.

"Reminds me of my childhood when we were looking after goats. It was such a lovely hike despite the challenges of walking along a dangerous escarpment," Murkomen captioned the photos.

The photos lit up the internet, with his fans taking to the comment section to express their excitement.

"This is inspiring bwana majority leader, life outside politics. You are a proud father," Silvanus stated.

"Good one, family time is good. Being proud of them is more than good. Let her know the struggle you went through," Arap Tilingi weighed in.

"In future, senator, please put on hiking shoes. The use of a stick was a good idea," Walubengo advised.

"Nice, at least you have time to interact with your people," Gideon Kitheko expressed.

"Family first. Thanks for giving us a glimpse," Kathiori stated.
