Citizen TV news anchor Yvonne Okwara on Saturday, 4th January, wowed a section of Kenyans with her ugali cooking skills.
Okwara shared a video of herself hard at work turning the brown ugali, a staple in many Kenyan homes.
Looking in her element in the kitchen as much as in the studio, her post was flooded by netizens hailing her 'talent'.
She captioned the video inviting others to share in the meal, writing;"Karibuni tule (Welcome, let's eat)"
Reactions ranged from amusing to downright hilarious, with many fans used to seeing her deliver hard-hitting takes on television and calling out ills in society.
"I need a piece of the ugali to confirm. In the meantime, kudos my dear," wrote one user.
"Put more flour, bado haijakuwa ngumu," another commented.
On Sunday, January 6th, she was featured in Daily Nation's list titled Here are the best and worst public and corporate communicators of last year. Okwara was singled out as one of the best corporate communicators having impressed massively hosting her prime-time news show.
Yvonne appreciated Nation for the feature, while jokingly noting she was the only one on the list whose image was not included.
"Humbled for this recognition in the Sunday Nation today. (Even though NMG decided to not put a picture of me. It's cool. I know what I look like!) Jokes aside though, thanks for this!" she tweeted.
