The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua was full of praise for Mama Ida Odinga, the EA Spectre CEO, and wife to ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Taking to his social media platforms on Tuesday, February 19, Mutua intimated that he had been overwhelmed by Ida's kindness after he had the honour of meeting her at East Africa Spectre offices along Mombasa Road.

"There is something very special about Mama Ida. She has a motherly, easy and calm demeanour covered in a firm matriarchal personality.

"I had the privilege of a two-hour brainstorming session in her office this morning to discuss the establishment of the proposed Mama Ida Library and Resource Centre at Ogande Girls in Homa Bay County," he wrote.

Mutua indicated that the meeting had brought about several Members of Parliament, professionals, and leaders from various sectors in the larger Nyanza region.

"It was my first time in life to step in Mama's beautiful office at East Africa Spectre Limited along Mombasa Road. From the warm motherly welcome, the sense of humour, the easy interactions and nodding of her head in appreciation of ideas from various speakers during the meeting, made it feel an awesome work environment," he wrote.

Mutua further stated that he had been impressed by the camaraderie between Ida and other leaders who were present at the meeting, leaders that he referred to as Ida's political mentees.

"When we were done with the meeting, Mama easily agreed to not only a group photo but a photo with each and everyone who came to the meeting.

"We left Spectre with renewed hope, having had great moments of laughter friendship and were even fed a sumptuous lunch. Thank you Mama Ida for making the day so beautiful!" he concluded.

Mutua was at the meeting with several leaders including Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga, Kabondo Kasipul MP Eve Obara, Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch, Homa Bay Town MP George Kaluma among others.
