A woman is in agony after a bitter spat with her ex-boyfriend caused her to lose part of her nose.

In a video by the Daily Nation on Saturday, March 14, the lady, sporting a heavy bandage on her face, alleged that her angry boyfriend had chewed her nose off as a result of a long standing disagreement.

"I was surprised to hear someone get into the house and grabbed me from my back. He dragged me outside, but when I got out, I screamed and he let me go.

"I ran to the other side of the compound but he came after me, grabbed me by the neck so that I couldn't scream, bit off my nose and took off immediately," she stated.

She narrated that it was then that a neighbor arrived and took her to hospital after which she was taken to a police station to record a statement on the case.

The unidentified victim further told the publication that she and the man had been together for over a year before parting ways due to numerous disagreements and irreconcilable differences.

"We only parted ways recently after which he chased me out of his house. I am an orphan and had nowhere else to go, so I came here [where the incident took place] to live with my current boyfriend.

According to a witness' sentiments, however, the man did not bite the lady's nose off but instead cut it off with a knife that he had been holding.

"She was standing behind the house when the man grabbed her nose and cut it off at once. She ran towards me screaming and fell on my chest.

"I warned her there not to stop as the man still seemed full of fury. It was then that she ran into the neighbour's compound and I followed her there, after which she was taken to hospital," the witness recounted.

The witness insisted that the suspect had attacked with a knife and not teeth as alleged by the victim.

The case was reported in the area police station under OB 76/12/03/2020.
