Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua alias Jaguar has questioned President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to have a video conference with two patients who had recovered from Covid-19.

On Wednesday, April 1, Uhuru's video conference with Brenda and Brian was streamed live with the two patients who had recovered from Covid-19.

Jaguar took to twitter to question Uhuru decision to parade the duo, "I've received calls from my constituents telling me that they're now even more afraid of hunger than they were of COVID-19.

"They can see it's curable at Govt's expense. Was that press conference with Brenda & Brian a good idea? Did President Uhuru Kenyatta's advisers fail him?"

A number of Kenyans are living hand to mouth and have to work every day in order to put food on the table making them vulnerable to Covid-19 by moving and interacting in their places of work.

Residents of some sections of Starehe Constituency have gone about their businesses normally especially in Gikomba market where social distance has been thrown out of the window.

Uhuru went on to reveal that he wanted to meet Brian and Brenda personally to show Kenyans that Coronavirus is curable.

During the live chat, Uhuru urged Kenyans to help stop the deadly virus by adhering to the set government directives.

It is the first time that the identities of the patients, who have now recovered from the Coronavirus, were revealed to the public.

In a subsequent tweet, Jaguar noted that Kenyans are worried and need three kinds of hope.

"Hope that they'll not starve, hope that they'll not die from COVID19, hope that they'll still have businesses/jobs after Coronavirus."

The musician went on to add that he is working to table Kenyans' grievances in Parliament.
