How to Buy Kenya Power Tokens via M-Pesa
Head to your M-Pesa menu and select “Lipa na M-Pesa” then “Pay Bill”
Select Business Number and enter Kenya Power’s Lipa na M-Pesa PayBill Number 888880 and press “OK”
On the Account number tab, enter your Kenya Power Prepaid Meter Number (e.g. 0100 xxxx xxxx x) press “OK”
Key in the amount you wish to spend which should be between Ksh 100 and Ksh 35,000 and press “OK”
Complete the payment by entering your M-Pesa PIN and press “OK”
You will get a notification with the intended recipient’s name e.g. “Pay Kenya Power KSh1,000.00 for Account 0100 xxxx xxxx x Press 1 within 20 seconds to STOP this transaction.”
To stop a wrong transaction, Enter “1” and press Send within 20 seconds. Pressing “Cancel” will complete the transaction.
You will receive a confirmation SMS from M-PESA.
KPLC will then generate prepaid token valid for your meter and send via SMS.
How to pay for electricity (postpaid)
1. Head to your M-Pesa menu and select “Pay Bill”
2. Key in the Kenya Power business number 888 880.
3. Enter your personal Kenya Power account number
4. Punch in the amount you desire to spend which should be between Ksh 100 and Ksh 35,000.
5. Complete the process by entering your M-Pesa PIN.
How to pay your Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) bill using M-Pesa
Head over to your M-Pesa menu and select Pay Bill
Enter the NCWSC Business number 444400
On the account number tab, enter your NCWSC number using the format NWC12345; the last five digits are your personal NCWSC meter number
Enter the amount you wish to spend which should be between Ksh100 and Ksh 35,000.
Complete the payment by entering your M-PESA PIN
For Airtel users replace the Business Number with "Nairobi Water"
How to order food on Jumia
Head over to the Jumia website
Select the city in the country that you want the food delivered then choose your area in the city.
Click on the restaurant's tab and select any eatery of your choice.
Select the meal of your choice and proceed to click on “Add Order”.

How to pay for DSTV using M-Pesa
Head over to the M-Pesa menu and select “Lipa na M-PESA”, then click on Pay Bill.
Key in the DStv M-pesa Pay bill number, 444900.
Enter your DStv Smart Card number which is on the card in the decoder.
Enter the amount to pay according to your subscribed bouquet
Complete the transaction by entering your M-Pesa pin

How to pay for Showmax using M-Pesa
Head over to the Showmax website and ensure you are logged into your Showmax account.
Navigate to the profile name at the top-right corner of the website.
Click on “My Account” from the drop-down menu.
Click on “Manage Subscription” and choose your preferred subscription.
Next, select M-Pesa as your payment method then choose your preferred bouquet.
Enter your mobile number and click on Submit.

Key in “1” for payment and click on send

Head over to the M-Pesa menu on your phone
Select the Pay Bill option from the menu
Key in the Zuku business number, 320320
Enter your Zuku account number with the word “Zuku” before it e.g zuku123
Enter the amount of the bouquet you have subscribed to
Punch in your M-Pesa pin to complete the transaction
How to buy Airtel Airtime Using M-pesa
Head over to the M-pesa Menu
Select Lipa na M-pesa
Click on Pay Bill
On the Enter Business number tab, key in 220220
On the enter Account number tab, key in your Airtel Phone Number
Enter the amount you wish to spend on airtime
Key in your M-Pesa PIN to complete the transaction
How to buy Safaricom Airtime using Airtel Money
Go to the Airtel Money Menu
Select Make payments
Click on Pay Bill then Other (at the bottom of the menu)
On the business name enter “pesapal”
Enter the amount you wish to spend on airtime
Enter your Airtel Money PIN to complete the transaction
On the reference, tab enter SAFCXXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is your Safaricom Mobile number)
