UPDATE: Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi will spend two more nights in police custody, a Nakuru court ruled on Monday, September 14, 2020.
The legislator will remain in the police cells awaiting bail ruling on the incitement case.
Sudi is facing charges of hate speech, assault of a police officer, offensive conduct, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, and resisting arrest.
8:14 a.m.: Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Sunday, September 13, presented himself to police after a dramatic manhunt at his residence on Saturday.
The legislator presented himself at Langas Police Station, Eldoret in company of his lawyer - Uasin Gishu women rep Gladys Shollei and Soy MP Caleb Kositany, Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa among other leaders.
"It was unnecessary to be treated with a lot of drama by sending contingent of police officers to my home. I was away the time police arrived at my place. Thank you all for standing with me," he stated.

UPDATE 20:08: Seven people were on Saturday, September 12, arrested during the raid at Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi's home.
Among the seven, two were police officers attached to presidential escort. At the same time, one man was shot, wounded and was rushed to hospital.
Hunt for the MP is still ongoing.
A contingent of armed police officers surrounded the house of Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Friday night, September 11, and Saturday morning, in a bid to arrest him for his recent political utterances.
A reporter on the ground told Kenyans.co.ke that a section of residents barricaded the road with logs and tractors to stop police officers from accessing the MP's house.
In addition, the residents, who were screaming and shouting, were daring to shoot police officers with their poisoned arrows.
The MP's home was filled with total darkness and officers could be heard asking Sudi to surrender.
In the wee hours of Saturday morning, the officers are said to have broken into the home but could not find the MP.
In a video posted on the legislator's social media pages, Uasin Gishu woman representative Gladys Shollei, who is also Sudi's legal counsel, was heard negotiating with the officers, promising that Sudi would surrender to the police on Monday.
Shollei questioned the officers' decision to arrest the lawmaker at night, rather than during the day, when he held a rally in Eldoret town.
"The police should have investigated the culture in this area, you do not go to someone's place at night, when you do, it is an act of war and people think that you want to kill the person," she stated.
The Woman Rep added that the police were causing unnecessary tension in the area.
"If anything happens, the police will be held accountable," Shollei declared.
Earlier in the week, Sudi came under condemnation for utterances he made against the first family, specifically Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
He was defending his counterpart Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng'eno, who had made similar utterances against the first lady.
"You are not Kenya and Kenya is not Kenyatta's or Mama Ngina's land. This land belongs to 47 million Kenyans, you cannot run it as you wish," the legislator stated.
