A video doing the rounds on social media has shown Deputy President William Ruto impressed by Kesses MP Mishra Swarup's house.
The DP, who was the special guest during the housewarming party, said that in his lifetime, he had visited numerous homes but had not seen any that resembled the MP's.
"It is indeed a wonderful evening that we have come to join our friend and brother Mishra to celebrate his new home. I have been to many homes but I haven't been to one like this one. It is important to have a decent and good home.
"This is a step in the right direction. It is only in a good home that you can bring up a good family," stated Ruto.
The DP further noted that the house located in Uasin Gishu had uplifted the county's profile.
"You have helped us make a very big statement in Uasin Gishu. Congratulations on building a wonderful home.
" You will find many of us having all manner of excuses to come here. Thank you for setting a new standard, this is what Uasin Gishu and Eldoret is," added the DP.
An overhead shot of the homestead showed four mansions spread across a perimeter-walled home with well-manicured lawns.
The brown and cream double-storied mansions are exquisitely furnished with expensive furniture in the interiors.
The houses have high ceilings and with chandeliers that hang above breathtaking dining furniture and kitchen counters.
Outside, gazebos are tricked out around the compound with a major glass-walled gazebo at the center.
