A section of Nairobi residents on Tuesday, January 26, woke up to find their cars dephased with graffiti.
In photos that circulated online, the vehicles had the name Dynasty spray-painted on them in what appeared to depict the 'Hustler Vs Dynasty' debate that has taken the country by storm.
The vandalism occurred in the Lang'ata area with four vehicles destroyed at Uhuru Gardens Phase II and 2 others in Moi Estate.
The matter had been reported to the police.
"If you live in Lang'ata, please secure your vehicle within your compound or beef up your security patrols especially between dusk and curfew as it appears the culprits are mobile," a resident in Lang'ata advised.
The resident went further to advocate for adequate street lighting in the area noting that the lights would deter hooliganism.
There were reports that other incidences of graffiti attacks were reported in Kasarani and Ruiru, reports which Kenyans.co.ke could not independently verify.
A resident of Ayany Estate in Kibra told this writer that she found the graffiti sign depicting letter D crossed off on her gate as she was heading for work.
"The letter Dx was also painted on our gates," the resident seeking anonymity stated not certain what it meant.
In a separate incident, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party supporters in Kabartonjo, Baringo County, on Tuesday, January 26, found some parts of their office painted black.
Confirming the incident to a local publication, Almeida Ayabei, the Chairperson team hustler, Baringo, stated that the name and logo of the party offices were painted using black engine oil at night.
“I suspect our opponents did it, and I dare them to come out and do it during the day,” Ayabei proclaimed.
