Kenyan award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o who is currently in Kenya has visited various parts of the country showcasing what it has to offer.

On Friday, March 19, Lupita shared a video of her dancing and singing in the middle of a tea plantation.

"Touched by tea....Happy furahi day people" wrote the Oscar award-winning actress on her twitter page.

She could not contain her excitement as she sang and danced to a popular nursery school.

"My teacher what will you do, for the mighty Jesus who died for me.

My teacher what will you do,  for the mighty Jesus who died for me.

Jesus said, listen to my teachings and pay attention to what I say.

Hallelujah "

It wasn't immediately clear the location of the tea plantation but Lupita shared photos of her in Lamu on March 16.

She captioned the photos "Lamu Tamu Lamu Damu" (sweet Lamu and Lamu forever), a move many applauded her for marketing Kenya's tourist attractions amid a spat with Tourism CS Najib Balala.

Balala had earlier said that efforts to reach her for the ambassadorial role of the countries tourism were futile. She has denied the allegations.
