Media personality and Kiss FM Presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o, on Wednesday, March 24, surprised his colleague Kamene Goro on her 29th birthday.
Jalang'o pulled a surprise immediately after winding up their morning show, KameneandJalas. Jalas went on to usher in Radio Africa colleagues who came bearing gifts, a bouquet of flowers, and a birthday cake.
A video capturing the event, showed Kamene looking surprised. She went on to thank her colleagues for this gesture - and thanked Jalang'o for the surprise.
"Are you for real, no wonder you did not want to share any details of what you had planned for my birthday," Kamene asked Jalang'o.
Overwhelmed by the surprise, the radio presenter was brought to tears after various media celebrities and counterparts wished her birthday messages.
"Happy birthday Kamene, you are a breath of fresh air, so keep doing the best you can do and keep rocking," Classic 105 radio presenter Maina Kageni stated.
"Happy birthday to the one and only Kamene Goro, remember you will always be the queen, we love you," renowned comedian and radio counterpart Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill stated.
Various other media celebrities shared birthday messages among them DJ Joe Mfalme, media personality Shaffie Weru. Jalang'o also shared a heartfelt message to his counterpart.
"Happy birthday Kamene, you know I love you so much, this is your brother, friend, and everything, love working with you," Jalang'o stated.
Media celebrities are fond of surprising their counterparts during their birthdays as a form of gratification.
Fellow media counterpart Betty Kyalo recently received a birthday surprise from her colleagues working on her new show dubbed The BigQuizShow.
The show's crew members took to Kyalo's house and surprised her with a birthday cake, much to the delight of Kyalo.
