There has been concerns from motorists who have decried their safety due to the construction of the Nairobi Expressway. From traffic snarl ups, to sparks falling on the road from welding, motorists state that the construction work poses a danger to their safety.
President Uhuru Kenyatta intervened on a land tussle between residents of Tigania East and KDF which involved a 17,000-acre piece of land. Uhuru, through Agriculture CS Peter Munya, sent a message to the residents assuring them that the government would protect them and asked them to withdraw the court cases.
