Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Monday, June 28, issued tough demands to Kiambu Women Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba after she ditched Jubilee Party for Hustler Nation.

The outspoken MP lamented that he was robbed off his position as the Vice-chair of the Roads and Transport Committee in the National Assembly which was handed over to Wamuchomba.

Last year, Moses Kuria was among allies of the Deputy President William Ruto who were transferred to less influential committee position in a purge which was implemented by Majority leader Amos Kimunya.

Kuria was transferred to the Implementation Committee as a mere member after losing his powerful Vice-chair position to Wamuchomba.

Wamuchomba was among the political leaders who were awarded for their loyalty to the head of state and rallying behind BBI.

But the Women Rep has since shifted her allegiance to Ruto - a move which which Kuria appreciated and welcomed her to their camp.

I fully welcome my good friend Gathoni wa Muchomba to the Hustler Nation. But the beginning of repentance is undoing certain things. I was robbed of my position as the Vice-Chair of Roads & Transport Committee and it was given to Wa Muchomba.

"My friend Gathoni. Do.not deal with stolen goods. Its an offence in law and in the Bible. Return to me my Vice Chair seat since we are now both members of Tanga Tanga which according to Kieleweke is a criminal enterprise,” Kuria stated.

Wamuchomba on defection was received by Ruto at his Karen residence where she was accompanied by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa and Githua Wa Machukuru (Kabete) .

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, she confirmed she that she had joined DP Ruto’s hustler nation saying that it is in accordance with the will of her constituents.

"I am aligning myself with the DP because that is where my people want me to be," she stated.
