New details have emerged in the case of the fugitive killer cop Caroline Kangogo, the prime suspect in the murder of corporal John Ogweno and businessman Peter Ndwiga.

Detectives have detailed that Kangogo met both Ogweno and Ndwiga at a club in Nakuru on the eve John Ogweno's demise on Sunday, July 4.

According to officers at the club, the three held in-depth discussions before they were joined by three other men. Minutes later, Ogweno left the club alone.

Ogweno took a taxi and went to Merica Hotel on Kenyatta Avenue in order to meet an unidentified person.

Later on, he proceeded to take a boda boda to Kasarani police houses where they shared a room with Kangogo.

Reports indicate that three people, including Kangogo, arrived at the house on Sunday night, July 4.

Detectives are trying to piece together information in order to uncover the events that led to Ogweno's body being found shot dead in the parking lot of the police station.

Both the taxi driver and motorcycle rider have been taken in for questioning to aid in investigations.

Police, however, pointed out that the second victim, Ndwiga helped Kangogo to evade police officers' trail before he met his demise days later by her hands at a hotel in Juja.

This new information comes as the search for the elusive police officer has entered the second week with police trying to apprehend the suspect.

This has seen the DCI boss George Kinoti order a specialized unit of the Directorate to strategize on how to nab Kangogo who has been nifty in her operations in order to evade police hot on her trail.
