"I'm excited and still trying to process everything. I'm happy I got to participate in the competition. I'm hoping for greater opportunities moving forward," he stated.
The competition attracted 100 top designers and was aimed at finding a national attire that portrayed the Country's local creative talents.
NOCK President Paul Tergat acknowledged that the competition was the best way to come up with the design.
“I salute the designers for their unique and beautiful propositions which Tusker used to give our athletes attractive travel kit to Kurume.
"You have contributed immensely to the overall preparations and eventual performance at the Olympic Games," Tergat stated.
Kenya Fashion Council Lucy Rao appreciated the creative community for coming up with the ideas.
"We believe that this synergy between sports and arts will provide new opportunities for the local arts community to express themselves," she stated.Designer Allan Mmbasu
