"It is the disciplinary Committee's understanding and finding that you are not willing to submit to a hearing of the Committee. Consequently, the committee shall, within 14 days hereof , make a recommendation on your expulsion from the Party based on your conduct and the correspondence between yourself and the Party over this matter," read the statement in part.

Kibwana was warned to take heed of the directive on the letter, and make any submissions a day before the day of the disciplinary hearing, July 29.

"In the event that you have had a change of mind and or you wish to attend the hearing, be at the Party Headquarters Boardroom by 11:00 AM on 304 July 2021. Should you wish to make any further written responses and submissions , do so on or before 29th July 2021," further read the statement.

Kibwana on Tuesday, September 8 2020, had also been issued a 14-day ultimatum to pay party membership fees which the party accused him of failing to pay.

The party had issued Kibwana a demand letter to pay Ksh600,000 in subscription arrears, which he denied he owed the party.

He responded at the time explaining that the dispute had stemmed from a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2017 between his Muungano Party and Wiper, and that he planned to meet Wiper officials to resolve the issue.

Kibwana, was also recently endorsed for the 2022 Presidential bid by the Akamba Clans’ Council, who felt that he would be the rightful representative of the Kamba community.
