Graduates in business-related courses can now sigh with relief after the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre announced paid internship opportunities.

KCIC is implementing a five-year programme that seeks to address the challenges that hinder the participation of youth and women in agri-business. 

The programme is called AgriBiz, and as part of their initiative, they seek to stir up the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) in the agricultural sector. 

They also focus on providing a variety of services needed by youth and women in the early stages of agribusiness enterprises, SMEs, community-based 0rganizations and self-help groups.

The body has announced that it is seeking highly motivated individuals who have graduated with a bachelor's degree in any field that is business-related. 

These individuals are expected to support the delivery of the Agribiz programme and facilitate the growth of business needs. 

The internship is paid, and interested applicants have between today, September 25 and October 1 2021 to send in their application.

Requirements;

In the application, an updated resume and cover letter are needed, providing details on experience to the related role being applied for, the current expected salary, three professional referees, a valid email and telephone number.

To send in the applications, visit their website, The Kenya Climate Innovation Centre, under the careers portal. 

The internship will be in Kiambu, Machakos, Uasin Gishu, Bungoma, Meru, Kisii and Isiolo counties. 

The interested candidates should also include the respective counties they wish to be slotted to when sending in the application.
