Robert Agengo, known for his character Fella on Citizen TV's drama series Zora, has narrated how auctioneers raided his house in 2020 and took his household goods and car.
Speaking during an interview on a show on YouTube, Agengo revealed that he had rent arrears which had accumulated for a year and a half.
Following the unfortunate turn of events, Agengo had start life afresh.
"I had to hide my car which was wrecked after a road accident. The landlord had started looking for it.
"In the end, they auctioned all my household items and the car was taken from where I had hidden it. I had to start life again," Agengo stated.
Agengo has come to be loved and admired for his role as Zora's (the star actress) husband which he effortlessly plays. On the show, he plays a drunkard who has wealth and always gives his wife a hard time.
On numerous occasions, Zora (played by main actress Sarah Hassan), seeks to have a divorce from him to which he declines.
Before his big break, the thespian narrated how he did a number of menial jobs including; hawking, being a taxi driver and a house agent.
At one time, he noted that he was an extra for a show during which he asked his producer for a job.
"He gave me a job to sell CDs of veteran singers like Daudi Kabaka but the problem was, no one was into that music plus I was young with a different clientele.
"One day, I decided that was not for me and I stopped selling the CDs."
The actor also gave a sneak peak into his private life, saying that he did not have a wife but had six children.
Agengo disclosed that he did not believe in marriage.
"I would rather be alone or be with my children. I don't want to feel like I am responsible for anyone's happiness," he stated.
