NTV Unveils Gladys Gachanja's Replacement

NTV has unveiled a new presenter who will host the morning show that was previously hosted by anchor Gladys Gachanja.

Gachanja stepped down as the presenter of, Your World, on December 17, 2021, after hosting her last show. 

The show was unveiled in April 2020 after the pandemic broke out and through it, Gachanja kept the public informed on health and wellness.

"Let me take this opportunity to thank you for taking your time, allowing us into your lives every morning and even suggesting amazing topics that made this platform more enriching," Gachanja stated as she signed off.

The Nation Media Group owned TV station unveiled former Ebru TV anchor, Winnie Lubembe, as the new show host. 

According to the show's trailer, Lubembe is set to officially host Your World from Monday, January 18.

Lubembe is a health broadcast journalist with over seven years of experience in TV presenting and reporting. 

She has built her career by conducting a wide range of interviews earning her the edge in the field of journalism. She has also horned her skills through scripting, voicing, and even editing.  

Lubembe on Saturday, January 15 announced that joining NTV was a dream come true.

"For over 10 years, joining NTV has always been my dream...and to call it home now is the biggest blessing I could ever ask for. I am happy, my heart is home. See you on Monday at 7-9 am on Your World launch day," Lubembe announced.

Lubembe worked at Ebru TV for three years after joining the station in September 2018. Her roles entailed anchoring prime time news, preparing the bulletins and doing research for the station.

She also used to host a show called My Doctor that aired every Monday to Wednesday. Other than that she used another show called New Day.

Before joining Ebru TV, Lubembe had a two years stint at the Health Channeas a presenter and producer.

Lubembe made a debut in the media industry back in 2012 when she joined GBS TV where she worked for four years.
