CBK Announces Job Vacancies; Requirements & How to Apply

The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has advertised job openings in six positions; assistant finance officers, bank supervision analysts, assurance associates, information technology (IT) audit associates and banking and payment service analysts.

In an advert seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the monetary authority stated that applications should be channelled through the e-recruitment portal provided by recruitment agency, Deloitte Kenya. 

In addition, the advert stated that the applications should be made before October 14, 2022.

The qualifications for the position of assistant finance officers should have a Bachelor’s Degree in either accounting, management, economics, finance or any related degree.

Further, the bank has specified that the candidates should have professional qualifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA). 

Persons contending for the position of bank supervision analysts should hold a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, accounting, business, or any other related field.

The candidates should also present professional qualifications that include Certified Information System Security Professional(CISSP) and Certified Information Manager (CISM).  

Qualifications for candidates seeking to apply for the position of IT audit associate include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Business. 

Candidates seeking to contend for jobs in the positions of assurance associates are required to have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics Finance, or any related discipline- as well as professional requirements such as CPA. 

Applicants intending to pursue the position of banking and payment service analyst - the central bank has stated the applicants should have a Bachelors's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Social Studies, Statistics or Computer Science. 

All jobs require at least two years of experience in the respective fields. Applicants will also be required to submit authentic certified copies of their respective academic certificates as well as their resumes. 

"Submit your applications including authentic certified copies of relevant academic and professional certificates and testimonials, your Curriculum vitae, current remuneration and email and telephone contacts," the advert reads in part.
