Kenyans were treated to four minutes of Bonga Sithole speaking English eloquently as he shared his plight in a TikTok video that went viral online.

The popular homeless man, as he is known on social media platforms, was captured begging for food as he had gone a whole day without a meal.

Despite being homeless and lacking other basic needs, Sithole was full of life as he detailed how he was currently writing a book detailing his life journey.

A majority of Kenyans sought to find out his origin and life story, with some claiming that he was from the East African country. However, Sithole was traced to South Africa.

The video shared in Kenya on Twitter on Monday, October 24, garnered 12,960 likes and 474 retweets.

Following this, Kenyans raised questions over the eloquent man whose videos were shared widely on Tiktok. Most were amused by his perfect mastery of the English language

Sithole was captured with a cup from a popular fast food restaurant in the streets of South Africa speaking to a woman inside a car. He immaculately engaged her in a pleasant conversation.

His first video was shared by Sisanda Nomusa Qwabe, a South African journalist and legal practitioner with 83.4K followers on the social platform.

The Mrs South Africa finalist tracked down Sithole after watching him on TikTok.

Her video garnered 205,000 likes, 2 million views, 13,000 shares, and 6,955 comments.

Qwabe promised to schedule a meeting with him in the future to discuss his life more.

Sithole, in an interview with a South African podcast, noted his father fully funded his education, thus his eloquence was unmatched.

He, however, dropped out of Class Seven due to family issues and a misunderstanding with the school authorities
