Renowned TV show host Persil Telewa has bounced back with a new multinational show, Globe Traktion, which premiered on KTN News on Saturday, October 29.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke on Sunday, October 30, Telewa revealed that the show will feature the stories of individuals from Kenya and across the world who have received global recognition for their efforts
"We will take you behind the stories of global figures and faces who have achieved across the boarders: those who have impacted communities and made history," she stated.
Telewa disclosed that save for those who have achieved international fame, the show will also feature individuals who have confronted challenges which are relatable to the audience.
"A number of them will not be popular faces but those who have faced extraordinary challenges such as drug abuse and deportation and overcome them," she added.
Meanwhile, the TV star explained that the Diaspora Life show had taken a break after three seasons for filming and in search of collaborations and active sponsorships.
Telewa doubles as the show co-producer and will work with the main producer Anthony Makokha.
Makokha intimated that the pre-production involved flying out to search for the history makers and individuals with unique stories.
Among those lined up are renowned Ethiopian marathon athlete Haile Gebrselassie and a British pilot who flew the late Queen Elizabeth and the late Prince Philip during their maiden trip to Kenya.
The show's premiere featured renowned Kenyan Hollywood actor Paul Ogola who starred in Netflix Film Sense Eight.
Ogola who was listed as a juror in the international Emmy awards 2022, narrated his journey in the film industry and how he quit his acting career.
The show will run every Saturday at 8:30 p.m on KTN News.
